UAA invites applications for the position of Director of Academic Advising and Career Development. The University seeks a director who follows a student-centered philosophy, regularly infuses student development theory into daily practices, and encourages and supports students in their pursuit for academic success through quality academic advisor, major/career exploration and development. The director coordinates academic advising, first year experience courses, UAA’s student internship program, on-campus employer recruitment efforts, a career resource library, and provides career advising for students.
